HW Write a Poem a day! 24
Hey guys,
As you probably know already we have been reading Lucille Clifton's poems. They tend to be sad in my opinion. Currently, we are reading "miss rosie." Didn't hear much because I am writing but I think it was talking about a girl after a broken relationship not well and her ex looking down at her. Now we have quickly moved onto the next poem, "wishes for sons." It's a bit strange. Lucille wishes that men would understand the struggle that women have to go through. Ms. Nakada just said instafeed instead of instagram, never heard of that before lol. Now we are writing poems and I am bit stuck. Hopefully something comes to my head quickly. Its real quiet in the class. Eli's poem was really freaky. I think I will have a nightmare myself. OMG Matthew's poem surprised me. Nice job. The ratchet poem was pretty funny. Well the bell just have to catch my next class...
