       I am doing my second blog now thanks to Celeste. Ms. Nakada is telling us that we have to sign up to young writer's program to follow how were doing on our novel and we set our goal. On the account we get to have buddies just in case we need help with something. Ms. Nakada is going to be one of our buddies. We are done talking about young writer program. Now were talking about A Midsummer Night Dream and writing questions for our cornell notes. The you/world question is very funny it is " If you had a friend your parents did not like how would you persuade them to let you hang out with them?" Ms. Nakada said that her second period class said that they would bring and annoying friend first and then bring the other friend so the friend would seem normal compared to the other one. I am trying to write the notes but I am also doing the blog. Wow, multitasking is very difficult. We now moved on to prepping for the quiz we have to know rising action, climax, and the beginning of the book. We also need to know about I. C.E, Banned Book Week, Latin Roots. Why do we need to have a quiz on halloween? Ms. Nakada is telling us that we have to do a letter to her and our writing partners. My writing partner will be Francisco. Hi Francisco.

Hey it's me again! I didn't want to do this but Matthieu picked me. Thanks a lot, Matthieu. We are working on our novels. Its going to be difficult but I will get through it. I'm writing about a girl, who is just like me, named, Victoria, but who is just different. The rest is a surprise. Hey, I'm trying to call Nico but she won't listen. I want to take a picture with her.

We are now trying to find a definition that Nico needs help with. COME ON NICO, THINK!!!! This isn't going to be a long blog because its a short day and thats okay with me.

So we all got a line of Shakespeare and had to recite it as we tossed around this duck. Then we had to try to remember the lines. 

Best Book Ever!!!!!!!!!!! I love the whole story and background and the characters. We took a test on this book. I GOT 40/40!!!!! 100%. YEAH!!!!!!! WELL, I'm so tired I went to sleep late doing my homework. I need a break from school. We're doing this thing where you have to remember the lines that people said. It will be easy for me. I have a perfect memory. Not to be a brag. I guess it's not as short as I thought it would be. They keep throwing the duck on the floor. Poor duck. OK, IM DONE!! BYE NOW.

            So I got picked to do the Blog again. Thank you very much Heether. So I'm confused on what to say because, well to tell you the truth, I just love freakin TACO'S. I just saw Ms. Nakada and her wonderful baby, Kiara, who looks so pretty. I just remember the Pokemon theme song becuase my older brother which bothers me to sing it when he watches that show. Know lie, I like the theme song. I'm getting off topic so what I have to do is write about the class talking about Shakespeare. So their talking about "Her me ah" and Demeterius. The magic forest something. Law..... tell her what to do. Oregon Ducks against UCLA. Betting/gambler thing. Hasting's is going to be a fairy princess. Hermia follows someJuan into the forest. I see a black dog, I think he doesn't want to be in a picture. Hey Devin, wanna be in my team for Dawson yeah. Now they're going to do the play ahhh. Why! Why can't Juan be in it. Heard Francisco say Forever Alone. xD I'm gonna comment tomorrow so I can get a candy again like usual. So not to spoil Forever for you guys but that book, was such a sexual book and that's why Me , Devin , Christian , and Francisco love that book. So many sex scenes in this book it's funny. One of the character's name is Michael like the Juan in this class. Now they're popcorn reading some book I don't know about. I'm waiting to go home, get off the bus, and go to MickyDees again. I know ,I know, I'm Phat and Fluffy but you guys would like MickyDees after school wouldn't you?

I'm finally doing my first blog since I was absent for a week and a half. #bronchitis #aintgottimefothat
Right now we're talking about NaNoWriMo again, and we only have 8 days until we start! Yikes.
Anyways, now we're continuing our notes to get a better idea of what we're going to write. Ms. Nakada reminds us to write something that our parents would approve of (*thinks about Forever by Judy Blume and shivers*), and that if we copy somebody else's work, we'll probably get caught. Now she's saying that to get an A, we need to write 20,000 words! ...That's 650 words per day! I hope it's easier than it sounds.
Now, we're writing down a list of good and bad books we've read, and a list about what we like about the good books. I usually read fantasy, but if I could find a good book like the shows Skins and American Horror Story, I'd be all over that.
Well, we only have a few minutes left so I'm gonna stop here.. Bye!

HHHHHIIIIIIII!!!!!!!! It's Gomez doing my second blog and you can thank Michal for this ;) You are dead to me. jk not really #sleepwithoneeyeopen. Today we start off with grammar. Woo. We are correcting a sentence about A Midsummer Night's Dream which we are going to read soon. Woo. Now we are writing about our model novel for Nnd;fhvaeiurghn or whatever its called. We have to write the title, author, pov, tense, and format. Ms. Nakada used The House on Mango Street as her model novel for her memouir. Zeyna. You happy? Now were talking about the pov. First person, third person, and all that good stuff. Ms. Nakada gives us an example with The Book Theif which is narrated by death. Today I think we aren't very talkitive today which is good. Now we are discussing the format in books. You can use chapters, letters, audio cassestes ect. Another thing you can do is an ABC biography where you do a letter a day for 26 days and finish early. Ya, that's not gonna happen. Well, the bell has rung. Bye.

So, I finally got on here. The computer didn't work so we had to restart the whole thing and now it's working. The class talked about "Aristotle's" beginning. Religious text, from the Bible, are in there so if you're familiar with the Bible you"ll understand more easily. "This is your first night with her, your first night without her", this could be the beginning of a relationship or, as Maytal said, your mother. I like how Billy Collins, the writer of this poem, switched up the text there and gave you different ways to look at it. We're only looking at the beginning of the poem today because we are starting to write the beginning of our novels, or at least our drafts. The room is pretty quiet since everyone's working hard. I hear Zander asking if we can write about our lives and the answer is yes, but my opinion is that we should write about someone else's life. We've lived our own so I think it would be interesting to write with someone else's point of view. Maytal just "whispered" my name. That was not a whisper May, I'm on the other side of the room and I heard you. I'm suprised Ms. Nakada didn't hear you. Anyway I turned around and she looked like a scary creature waving at me. She wants me to mention her in her so here, MAYTAL...........creeper. Now everyone is sharing their beginnings. Michael's was really good, about the new paper being written. Maytal's about a leaf falling, I wanted to write about a new plant growing. Rios's about a tear falling. Everyone did an amazing job. Remember put the "Aristotle" poem somewhere safe because we're going to be using it a lot.

Ms. Nakada just plomped down the NaNoWriMo packet. Writing a novel in 30 days?! Over 100,000 people around the world are doing this as well?! This is crazy, yet exciting. Don't press the Inner Editor Containment Button, not yet at least. My inner editor is a man with glasses, yes it's kind of a stereo type. Maytal's and Zander's editors are fat people, one running, and the other with a beer in his hand. That's nice. Rios's is a hobbit

Hey, Third Period Clique. Wazzup, class? It's my second blog and there's not much to talk about today considering it's a minimum day. OMG, thank god. I needed a break. Parents are always like you don't need a break. You do nothing all day, but going to school school is difficult. GEESE!! Anyways, Ms. Nakada just gave me a poem, "Aristotle" by Billy Collins. Good job, Lenin you won C.O.T.W.  God, you guys need to comment more. He wins all the time. No, Eli it is not an EPIC poem for the second time. We are now making ideas of annotations to mark-up text. You can make emoji's, underline and highlight things to show emphasis and response. Oh lord, I just looked around and saw Gomez sitting in the same seat he did the last 10 weeks. Just move already. Are you glued to that seat? Ooooh, I see a business card for Maytal's Dad's pizza place. I went there on Thursday it was so good. I had some pizza, potato wedges, and a sprite. Hey, Ms. Nakada we should take an "educational" field trip there, nudge nuge wink wink. All of the class is reading right now it's so quiet #awkwardscilence. Ok, I'm gonna go read the poem now back in a sec. Ok I'm back and the period is about to end and i still have to figure out how to take a picture. Bye guys.

Heeeeeey :) this is my second blog cause ELI had to pick me. For all the people going to Parent conference night you gotta bring your reading journal, binder reminder and your class notebook. Since I wasn't here yesterday I have to do I.C.E on Zander's book project. He did an Instagram on Sodapop; that was really good cause not a lot of people would do it on Soda most would use Pony or Johnny. Gomez is going second, watch his be so complex. Haha I was right he did a scrapbook with Oragami hanging out of it. It was crazy good. GOOD JOB GOMEZ!!!! Kelly's turn; lets go Kelly!! She did a Facebook on Ponyboy Curtis. Riley's going up, I saw hers before and she has a really good timeline for The Great Gatsby (I think I spelled Gatsby wrong but idk Cx) Knowing Riley she didn't like the book xD lol. I just presented :) got it over with.

Hey guys. I'm back :-D. So anyways, we just read Rios's blog and had some laughs. Now, we are doing presentations for our book reports. And of course, full of enthusiasm, Maytal is up. She did an instagram page. We have to do I.C.E. for each presentation, fun. I have to set up my sheet. Brb

So, Maytal is presenting and it is based on Augustus Waters from The Fault in Our Stars. Wow, it is good. Nice job. Now, Mickey is doing it on the same book but on Hazel Grace. Also did a good job. I did it on Clay Jensen from Thirteen Reasons Why as a Facebook page. God, it was a great book. Aww, I'm sitting here and looking at many pics of 8th graders, man I miss them. I wanted to do it but it has a lot of spoilers, so yeah. Now, its Ronan's turn. He did it as an Instagram and it was Ponyboy from The Outsiders. Now, it's Michael's turn who did it on a facebook as Ponyboy from The Outsiders. Ugh, I need to work on my worksheet. Brb, again.

BACKSTREET'S BACK ALRIGHT! ... Backstreet boys.... 90's reference...oh nevermind! I'm back! This is going to be just as good as Big Mama's House 2. Anyway... we are talking about what a jerkwad Columbus was. Did you know he cut off the Arawak Indians hands! Wait... I should cite that Page 9, A Young People's History of the United States.   Are you satisfied, Nakada?
   We are discussing if Columbus Day should be celebrated. Riley says yes, so we can teach people NOT TO CUT PEOPLE'S HANDS OFF! Okay, that last part was me, but she did want future people to know the true history of Columbus' turdiness.
   Now is the writers workshop part of the class... People are taking finishing the Columbus reading questions, reading, AR testing. Fun Fact, I read 18 books this year already. Nerd power! Actually that's not my nerdiest quality... I also have an intense addiction to Star Trek. #Spockissexy
Christian just came into the room and told me he just went pee. Classy. *pauses so he can be 100% mortified*

I thought I wouldn't be back for a while but thanks to Milhon I'm back again and too soon i might add.

So, right now the class is answering a question which is What do you about Christopher Columbus?
and the other question is after reading page 1-3, what did you learn about Columbus? Man it's really quiet in here because everybody is reading. I feel like im the only one making noise with the clicking of the keyboard of the computer. When the class is reading it's really hard to make a blog because no one is doing any thing but reading! I think my blog is going to be short and I still have to get these notes done so let me do that real quick.

Ok. I'm back and now we are sharing what we learned after reading. I would be typing down what people are saying but they talk faster than than I can type. Alright, I'm going  try this out. All I heard was Sarah Rios say she thought Columbus is a "Royal Turd."

Now moving on to the third question. After reading pages 7-10, what did you learn about the Arawak?  Sarah just said said someone is ugly and Lenin said, "strong words from Sarah Rios" and that actually made me laugh. Milhon is singing the Dragon tails theme song and that made me laugh. Man it's too quiet in here. I think it's time for some pictures.

Alright back to class work. Lenin learned that Rodrigo really discovered America and Columbus took the credit. Wow, question 5 which was Should we celebrate Columbus day? This question made every one go crazy. Well every one is reading right now.  Ms. Nakada said if she had to choose between naming her son Juan or Pepe she would name him Juan because then she could say he is the only Juan. Ha ha. That was pretty funny. Ok gotta go bye.

     IM BAAAAACKKKK!!! So um...hugh... Ugh...Mrs. Nakada is checking reading journals at the moment. I hope I get an A...Man, I'm really not in my zone today. It's quiet again because, well, I don't really know. I think everyone is reading. Fransisco has the audacity  to come over and touch my head. Don't worry. I got you after school. Imma steal your lunch money...I wish I had some lucas...I feel like it would be a boost for my motivation. Cricket, cricket, cricket...I stole that from Nyla...OMG I feel like a boring old person with no friends...There are some really big scissors on the table... DANGEROUS! I fell ashamed because this is going nowhere...OMG I see a pic with Hastings not wearing his hat. Like this is some history because he is always wearing that thing. He's got this side bang thing going, and pearl earings. I've always wondered what his hair looks like... Creeper...Honey didn't do her notes. Hahah, wait no. She lost them. Don't worry Mrs. Nakada. I got her. Imma wope you Honey. Everyone is reading...Except for me ha ha. Last night I was watching this movie called The Good Son. This lady was trying to save her nephew and her son because they were hanging off a cliff. She let go of her son because he was trying to kill like everyone, and he fell all the way down screaming. He sounded like this. AHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhh......( Sound fades out then he falls in the water). I think it was suppose to be sad but I laughed really hard. I mean he was a terrible kid. So, I laughed. I mean it was funny. Remember children, don't be evil or your mom will drop you off a cliff, and turn in your book projects. Or Mrs. Nakada will drop you off a cliff. I KID, I KID , I KID. Your reportcard won't be happy though..So yeah Imma go now.

OK...hey guys. It's Maytal thanks to Zander. I got picked and kinda Gomez. Right now eveyone is talking about Latin roots. I'M SO TRIED ok um now we are having a Spanish lesson.

OK, I will tell you guys a story. Once a upon a time there was a skinny girl named Maytal she was short so her name didn't really fit her. So, one day she got a dress online but it didn't fit so she went to a get it fixed and it still doesn't fit (this is a real story) so now the dress looks like lumpy yogurt on her. THE END and she needs the dress for her bat mitzvah.

So Rose chose me to do the blog. Even though I've already done it. Anyways, we did the blog and Rose forgot to pick someone and now we have 10 minutes left and she just chose me. We wrote down the past assignments and figured out our grades. Ms. Nakada is going around checking notebooks and late work. I left mine at home. Oops!  Hey, guys. Well, guess I am the last one to do the blog! Right now we are doing the Socratic Seminar and I hear a lot of good topics, but I noticed that Honey and Milhon (I hope I spelled that right) have not been talking.... Well, I really don't know what to write right now..... Rios just said, "A good role model would not get Sandy knocked up in the first place" Wow. Ms. Nakada has a lot of reading journals to check! I hope she checks mine. Ms. Nakada's book looks interesting. I might want to read it some day. #lolnope #jkireallydowanttoreadit. Riley is actually a really good debater! Good job Riley. Now we are talking about suicide... This is depressing. We are now switching groups in the Socratic Seminar. Do we really have to talk this much, just when moving seats?? #thatsoundedlikeateacherspet. Wow. Gomez posed a question and it had a really delayed reaction... All I know is that Kelly just answered a question with "What if you were dropped?" lol. Hastings is wearing a dress and a duck costume. I figure that was a bet... Well, Hey hey hey!So today was my turn to do the blog witch is good cause I didn't want to be the last one to do the blog. Ok...right know I heard that Ms. Nakada thinks Miley Cyrus is truly gold. Well, I don't agree with that just saying...Now we're talking about some questions about the Seminar. Well this is kind of boring. The blog though, not this class. Now Zander is talking about talking Spanish. Ok? Well, right next to me Christen is talking to Ms. Nakada in Spanish and she understands. Way to go Ms.Nakada I guess she has a new Spanish teacher. Sorry Lenin. Ok so right now we have to finish our essay's which I need to do. Now people are doing their work cause it's pretty quiet which is good cause people are doing their work but I'm not because I need to do this blog! -.- Omg is that HASTINGS?!?!?! WOW, well that is a good look for him.

 I started late so everything might not be here. Zahrah chose me to do the blog (thanks a lot). We talked a little bit about culmination requirements because of the assembly this morning. Some of the requirements had to deal with grades and behavior. Also, the dress code which I was out of yesterday. We talked about book projects and our first one is due next Friday.  We talked about Socrates and the difference between dialogue and debates. Ms. Nakada talked about the set up of how we are going to discuss The Outsiders on Friday. Well, it's the end of class so I got to go bye.

Hey hey hey guys don't know what to write about thanks to someone, cough, cough, Khai.  Just found out Angel is three years old #bornonleapyear #toatscool. Can I copy someone's notes please? We watched  Jimmy Fallon  and Justin Timberlake's hashtag video. Thinking about what to write about. Ms. Nakada is reviewing I.C.E. and the other conventions we need to have in our essays.
