So, Ms. Nakada is talking about the essay about Pony staying gold or not. I'm really confused about what she is talking about because I'm trying to write the blog and listen at the same time. #imnotgoodatmultitasking. I think she is just reviewing from yesterday because a lot of people had mistakes. So, now Ms. Nakada is reading her conclusion for her essay and everyone applauds. I really messed up on my essay so I kind of have to start over. So since I have to do that   now this is going to be a really short blog.

    Oh the  joy of doing the blog a second time. Just to let you know  I  will mispronounce words. Well right now  Ms. Nakada is talking about I.C.E. It has something to do with the essay we are going to write about Ponyboy not staying or staying gold, you know who knows when your multitasking and people are talking really loud in the class across the hall.

Wow so Nico just caught me laughing to myself,because I just caught Isai looking out into space. He looked  so funny im a try to get a  picture.     Hey everybody. This is my first blog and don't know what to say. Right now we're doing basic 5 paragraph essay structure I meant. But it's kinda hard to see from where I am. Psst hey Brisa can I copy your notes? I really don't know what to say :(. Did I ever say Thank you to castor for making me do the blog? Well..   Hello class! It's me Castor doing my first blog. I was the last one of the boys to be picked. Well, anyway right now we are finishing up our perfect paragraphs for the first 15 minutes of class. Hey class!!!!!!!! Okay, so this is my first blog and I'm sort of confused on what to write about. It's a Tuesday which means that we get out early. I hope my blog ends up being super long so that it doesn't look like I've been wasting my time sitting here doing nothing. Okay, so right now everybody is super quiet and all I hear is occasional coughing and me typing. Everybody is saying what they call their dads. I just say, Dad lol. It feels sorta awkward just sitting here typing because it seems like everybody is looking at me. LOL :D I was absent yesturday and Ms. Nakada keeps on telling everybody to take out their papers from yesturday. WHAT PAPER!?!? I now understand what everybody means when they say it's hard to multi task when doing the blog because while I'm trying to listen to Ms. Nakada's directions, I have to also make sure I'm not making any mistakes in the blog. We're now talking about how the grading works for the academic writing (I think that's what we're talking about anyway). I just now realized that Ms.Nakada has this picture of Hastings in some sort of wedding or prom dress LOL. Pink really brings out the color of his eyes XD

 OMG it's only like 10 something! There's like 3 more hours of school left :( I'm looking across the hall and there's some girl talking about how babies are born XD XD. Okay, so I really have to get focused now. It's writer's workshop right now, and the class is starting to get too loud so Ms. Nakada attempts to quiet them down which made them become even louder. SOMEBODY PLEASE LET ME COPY DOWN WHATEVER WE'RE SUPPOSED TO BE DOING RIGHT NOW!!! The only person I hear talking is Christian *cough* *cough* the reason I'm doing this stupid blog. Did I say stupid? I meant this spectacular, exciting, fun, and educational blog :D . I'm really running out of things to write/type about so I'm just gonna go back to my seat now. MUAH XD

o this is my  first blog because somebody told somebody to tell seltzer to choose me to do the blog. Speaking of people I owe somebody 20$ because  lost a bet. I lost because I had to be the very last person to do the blog, but there are more girls in the class room so I guess I ran out luck. 

 Sooooooo , yeah, i dont really have any thing to talk about. . . . . . . . . . OH , i'm gonna let you in on a little secret. did you guys know i am Lenins spanish teacher, yeah most of the things he knows about spanish come frome meeee !! I just noticed a picture of a baby on Nakadas wall of fame. WOW, really, therd period only has three points. Aw man, vamos a necitar a llegar todas las dias a la clase. Spanishhhhh.

HW: Enjoy your weekend!

        Hey guys, it's Seltz. I really don't want to do the blog today. I'm sick, I just had running day, and I'm so very tired. Thanks Eli and Matthieu. You will rue this day. Right now we are analyzing The Outsiders, book vs. movie. I really should be writing this down, be right back. I can't see anything on the projector from this angle.

       Okay I give up. Alrighty, so I do believe that The Outsiders movie stays faithful to the book. The characterization is the same, because Pony, Johnny, Darry, Soda, Steve, Two-Bit, Dally, and Cherry had the same qualities that are described in the novel. They look and talk exactly as I imagined they would. Also, there is a strong Socs vs. Greasers conflict. You can feel the tension between the groups, and the incident in the park did occur in the movie, just like it did in the novel. How can you forget the rumble towards the end? There was a fire, rain, blood, people screaming; just my typical Sunday afternoon. (That is something called sarcasm for all of you who don't understand). Lastly, I think that the setting in the movie stays true to the setting in the book. I'm pretty sure S.E. Hinton meant for the story to be set somewhere in Oklahoma even though she never mentions it. She is from there, and the scenery in the movie looks like the western prairie.

      Oh my gosh, I just got my reading journal back. Heck yes, 20/20. Well, I really want to get back to my work. I feel bad not doing it, so this will just be a short blog. I'm also not gonna do a picture 'cause that's just not my thing. Bye guys.

P.S. MATTHEIU AND ELI, SEE ME AFTER CLASS!!! On second hand, don't. Just don't talk to me.

Hey! Rico here. So here I am, doing the blog thanks to Rios. I really didn't want to do the blog, but I had to do it eventually.

We're taking notes on Elements of Plot. Lenin just got The Lightning Thief spoiled for him. Good job, Ms. Nakada. Now we're looking at a story plot rollercoaster. Tunnel of badly written love. *cough* Twilight. Next week is banned book week. We just got a huge list of banned books. That's a lot of banned books. The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, I'm surprised these are banned. China bans a lot of books apparently. Ms. Nakada says most non-democratic countries ban books like the Middle East. Ms. Nakada says if we read Forever by Judy Blume we will be scarred for life. It's kinda making me want to read it more. Too bad I can't find it on the bookshelf :(.

I really suck at this blog. I barely wrote anything^. Oh well, better luck next time. The bell's gonna ring soon so bye.

   Okay so I have managed to slip out of doing the blog for a while now, but thanks to someone (cough) Mcguire I have to. So, yay me. Nakada is talking about the practice SAT test. It's 14 bucks and people have to sign up by the 23rd. I wish we didn't get this darn (pretty sure I can't say damn here) handout. I know my mom is going to make me do it. Once again, yay me. Jeez talking about college already! High school feels forever away but college! If only I could stay 13 forever... impossible but a girl can dream.
   We are getting our tests back now .... HELL YES!! 41/40! WHOO!!!! (Snoopy happy dance that culminates in twerking)... just kidding, kind of. Now we're correcting the tests. Aww Nakada has so many nice pictures here. I see some friends of mine who graduated. :( Man, I miss them. Hastings is one ugly duckling. Oh and there is Nakada's husband. He looks kind of dorky. She could do better.
   We are clapping for Honey... Maytal's pen stabbed her. Mean pen... you can't trust them (looks at pen suspiciously). Still correcting.... glancing around out of boredom. Oh yeah tomorrow's picture day. I really hope I don't wake up with a big honking zit on my head tomorrow. But who knows? Life has a tendency to be an ass like that.
 Oh snap we were going to compare the movie and the book. But the period is almost over. I blame Maytal's pen! Evil pen. So, I guess that's goodbye... I know, don't cry. Breakups are hard but we can still be friends. (Don't you hate that line? A bigger lie that I accept the terms and conditions)

Hello, everybody. This is my first blog, as everybody already knows. I'm kinda of nervous and not sure what talk about. We are just watching "The Outsiders" and Darry is breaking down because Johnny died. OMG I feel like crying right now. How can such a tough person break down like that? I mean he went to jail and all you would think he would seen worse.

Now, Darry is trying to end his life. This movie is pretty interesting. I love it. Anyways, I'm really tired. I haven't been sleeping well and been working a lot. I'm drowning in work to do I still have a lot of work to catch up in this class but at least I finished "The Outsiders."

The movie just finished and everybody looks like they're about to cry. LOL. Wow, that was a good ending. What?! Ms. Nakada just said the story is fiction. I was believing all this time that this movie was based on a true story. I feel stupid.

Ms. Nakada is making a "Similarities/Differences Chart", oh man we might have to do a perfect paragraph now. Why so much work? Back to the chart, I never realized that there are so many differences between the movie and the book. This adds to the reason why Ms. Nakada says don't do an AR test on a movie. LOL that just made me think of how fake the rumble looked. It was obvious when they threw their fists they weren't touching the skin of the person's face. I feel like Im just talking just for the sake of talking. OMG I'm trying to write a long blog but it's just not coming to me. I hope my blog looks bigger on the board because right now on the computer it's looking pretty small.

Grammar notes are confusing when you already watched/read the movie because you want to say past tense every time. I must be honest. I'm surprised how much work we do in class. It all came clear to me because I'm just noting everything that's happening, I guess. I just heard Lenin say "One Direction." Akward! I'm so confused Ms. Nakada just said The Outsiders is underlined and the whole time I have been putting it in quotes.

The bell rang and that was the end of the period.

This is my first blog and I really wanted to watch the movie, but thanks to Devon, I'm stuck here multitasking. Johnny and Ponyboy just got on a train to go to the church that Dally recommended. He said he would meet up with them in a week or so. They have just arrived at the church and they find a comfy spot to sleep in. OMG!!!!!! PONYBOY AND SODA ARE SO CUTE!!!!! Johnny went to the store and has now came ack with bread, baloney, a copy of Gone With the Wind.Ponyboy has now dyed his hair and he doesn't look as cute anymore. They are waiting for Dally's arrival. They spent four of five long days. Ponyboy recites a poem called Nothing Gold Can Stay. Dally has now arrived. He takes them somewhere to eat. Ponyboy gets a letter from Soda saying that he should come back and turn themselves in. So intersesting! I wish I could multitask. They go to this rundown place and they were telling little kids to go away so that they wouldnt recongize them. Dally tells Ponyboy and Johnny that Cherry was their spy.

Johnny tells Dally that he wants to turn himself in. They see that the church is on fire and they go inside the church to try and help them. Pony and Johnny try to go into the church and they hear the kids screaming like crazy. They try to get out but something falls on Johnny. OK. I want to watch the movie so, BYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am finally doing the blog (thanks Kelly). I wanted to watch the movie completly but, I have to do the blog. This period started off with Ms. Nakada reading her blog and giving the comment of the week which Isai and Lenin won. Congrats guys. Oh yeah, Milhon also won. We started watching The Outsiders and it looks interesting like the book. Right now we're in the part where Cherry is asking about Darry and what is he like. I forgot to say that today is a short day so we won't get to see a lot of the movie. I forgot to say that tomorrow is Maytal's birthday so HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Maytal. OMG Johnny just killed Bob. Hey, this is my first blog, and I'm not happy about it -.- Thanks, Zander . Well, hey beautiful people! So, today we're talking about how Pony was struggling in school. Soda was very sad about how Sandy left to Florida, PREGOO! But it wasn't Soda's. Shocking, right? lool Cx Riley thinks it was Steve who got her pregnant. What do you guys think? (think about that guys) Ms. Nakada got her finger cut cutting bread. Her husband was watching when she was cutting bread yesterday , lool ;b So, we're in the part where Pony and Darry start arguing and Soda takes off. He was very upset about Sandy and Pony and Darry. Soda feels like it's a tug of war. Pony kept convincing himself that he killed Bob and not Johnny. As they carried Dally's body away Two-bit kept thining about that switch blade because he didn't want to think about Dally being dead. After that Ponyboy opened up the book and a paper fell out and it was from Johnny. Pony called his teacher and asked how long can the theme be and it can't be no shorter than 5 pages. You guys had a lot of great opinions on that one Stay Gold poem. Wow, this book was amazing ! oo; So, what are you doing right now? Don't answer that 'cause I don't care xDD Wow Riley, why are you bugged about that book? Ahahaa Ms . Nakada says you two are similar . Dang Riley, Ms. Nakada's trying to roast . I'm hungry! I want some pizza. Who's hungry ? I'm so quiet today. I'm suprised because I'm usually talking to Juan.  You guys are so mean talking about Hastings like that. I mean, I know he's always negative, sometimes mean, and always serious, but he's not that bad when we all have our LOL moments with him. Ms. Nakada challenges's anyone that can summarize the whole book and Micheal won. He said "The Outsiders is a story between the east side and west side", (not word for word though) and Ms . Nakada said something else to add to it , but I forgot it cx When will Ms . Nakada strike again with these challenges that I probably can't do? I just noticed we have a quiz today. Thanks MS. NAKADA ! -.- So now we know we have to write a paragraph for today . GREEEEAAAAATTTTT ;b ! Now were doing step-up to writing thingy . It teaches us how to write a paragraph , duhhh !  HEYYY EVERYONE!!!!! Okay so  far all I heard was milkshakes. Haha I had two yesterday. Ms. Nakada is talking about how to figure out how to calculate our scores. I just got my syllabus back and gotta 10!!! Oh yeah. ( Takes a moments to dance ). So how is everyone? Are y'all okay? Are you feeling good about your scores on the work we are getting back? Ms. Nakada said we are gonna be writing a letter to our parents talking about how we are doing in class. First paragraph is explaining why we are writing the letter. She said explain what we have been reading, The Outsiders. OMG Johnny and Dally both died!! I can't! :,(  Lets take a moment of silence shall we..........Haha Ms. Nakada was kinda yelling because she said if you are writing in all caps THAT IT SOUNDS LIKE THIS. Awwww, I see Mrs.Nakada's wedding picture. *Tear*. Love is a beautiful thing. Wait am I off task...No, I think I'm okay : )...Haha creeper smile. Now it's all quiet...There's a car honking. Hmm...Anyway there's nothing all that educational to discuss because no one is talking...Lets discuss the homework. Which is something I would normally do but since I can't quiet think of anything right now I might as well. Plus I don't wanna get evicted from writing blogs so yeah. We are suppose to read 15-20 pages of a book of our choice. One thing. ( Haha that's a song) I don't quite have a book right now, but now that I'm thinking I remember that I was reading a book. A lot actually. Me and my mother could also hit up a Barnes and Nobles! Which of course when we get there she's gonna pick up like 55 different books and say "Milhon, I LOVED this book as a child. It's amazing. You should read this!" Then there's me looking at other books, "Yeah okay mom can I get this one instead? " Haha shoutout to my mother. #Momcanyouletmegetthebooksiwant. So, here I am doing my second blog. I told Ms. Nakada that I didn't want to do it because I had already done one in second period, but now my classes switched so I have to do one in third period. Well, I don't really know what to talk about since the class is super quiet. Right now we are reading our books because we are doing Reader's Workshop. Some people are reading thier own books and others are finishing up The Outsiders. Wow! There is only five minutes left in class so this is going to be a really short Blog. Well, since the class is just reading quietly I'm going to post a picture.

Those are my bestfriends from 2 period. I MISS THEM. Especially Sebastian My #1 friend. The bell just rang so i guess this is a Goodbye :)

 So hey! Honey Here! So, Angel reads his blog and then Ronan convinces him to pick me for the blog. Here I am! After that someone asked if everyone was here....guess what? We all are, so we got 10 pts. . Keep it up third period! Then we discuss what are we going to do at our party...looks like we might have milkshakes!!! Whoop Whoop. Anyways so now Ms. Nakada said something about reading journals. OOPSIE...looks like I forgot to do 3.3! Anyways we are going over The Outsiders notes. Why is Pony an unreliable narrator? What we are discussing right about now...I think.
Well, I think, because he isn't in a stable mind set. Random Moment: Gomez sneezes out of no where, and we're like wow!!!! Need a tissue? No, okay....that's fine! Awwww man! I gotta get these notes.

Lenin says he wouldn't have saved the kids because 1.) He doesn't like little kids & 2.) He doesn't even care! Nice sympathy...

Maytal says adults have already lived and had fun with there life...
I'm so confused as to why that was brought up! Usually I could multi-task but not today. Wow! I just dosed off, and now I'm noticing the pictures in front of me I from the eighth grade culmination. They look nice. I hope they're doing well in high school....maybe I should pay more attention. One sec!!!

Maytal is talking again, but I can't hear her, because of this awesome fan!!!  I just now noticed the poster in the back of the room, with the bunny covering his ears....saying "Not Listening!" 
Aha well now I'm stuck and don't know what to write!!!!! Be right back...

How does Chapter 9 begin?
The gang gets ready for the rumble, and he asks everyone do they like to fight?Except for Two-Bit. Then Ponyboy realizes he has no reason to fight but, he does anyways. They head to the rumble and notice who is ---

Angel interupts when Ms. Nakada asks why are they flipping around, being athletic. He decides to say "Because they're happy!!!"

Anyways Paul sees Darry, as...very low class! The fight gets started by Paul cheap shotting Darry! The rumble is on!!! At the beginning, Ponyboy, gets his butt whooped...as many people would stay.
So, I guess they get a police escourt to the hospital. Oh yeah, I remember now!!!

This is my first Blog and the class has a new classmate. Ms. Nakada said that we have to talk in code. Ms. Nakada read a little and said that we will be done with the T.O. book at the end of the week. We have a new page in the notes called Grammar Notes. We talked about proper nouns and when to capitalize. The class is writing down notes and I do not know what to write down. I hate how it is a short day and I am a slow guy.
