Writing Persuasive Essays
HW: RJ 13.1 15-20 Pages
Hey guys, guess who's back? MEEEE!!!! :-D How have y'all been doing lately? Why don't you tell me in the comments, lol. Anyway, so we start the day with learning about persuasive essays. The point of a persuasive essay is to influence or change people's minds. Ms. Nakada just asked everyone to be quiet. Man, I am tired as heck. I can't wait until this weekend. The drama kids are performing Willy Wonka. The dates and times are May 16, 7:30pm @ the Emerson auditorium and May 17, 2:00pm and 7:30pm, also at the Emerson auditorium. Shoutout to all the kids in drama. I know this will be a fun show.
Anyway, back to the real world. We are talking about persuasive essays and if we should agree or disagree on some real-world scenarios. That was fun. I just want the year to be done. Now, I have to write what was on the board. BRB...
People working...
Shout out to Brisa.
Now, we have to write about the time you lied and a time when you told the truth. Man, that's hard. I can't remember a specific time about each... that's a bad sign. I'll just put up one more pic.
I just heard that Hastings lies a lot. I have to know what he lies about... Riley told me that it's in his voice. You don't know whether or not he is lying or telling the truth. I too hate it when they say to trust them even though you shouldn't. I agree that it is okay to lie in some situations.
I remember my dad said that it is better to tell the truth straight up rather than finding out later. Believe me, when my parents find out a lie, it is much worse than telling the truth. Now, we are packing up. PLEASE LEAVE SOME COMMENTS BELOW!!!!!!!
